We take academic scholarship very seriously at SAU. As a liberal arts university, we introduce you to a broad spectrum of ideas and concepts. You won't get lost in a sea of people, either, with a 1:15 faculty-to-student ratio, and a faculty that is passionate about their subjects and their students. On top of everything, we give you an outlet for applying what you're learning to real life. Because SAU espouses a global perspective, students are required to spend at least three weeks in a foreign culture, gaining a better understanding of the world around them and learning, first-hand, how to be a world-changer.

With a wide range of activities and student-led organizations right at your fingertips, you'll never want for something to do.  One of the best expressions of this tight-knit community is our chapel service, which happens twice a week. Here the entire campus unites together under the banner of Christ to worship Him, learn about Him from world-renown speakers, and commit their lives to Him.

SAU welcomes you to visit campus to get an up close and personal look. We have a wide range of visit events scheduled throughout the year, but we are also happy to schedule an individualized visit for you. You can stay in the dorms, attend class, eat in the dining commons and experience chapel. Meet professors, talk with current students and get a definite feel for the campus and community.
