Seattle Pacific University

Engaging the Culture, Changing the World.

Seattle Pacific University equips graduates to bring about positive change in the world. This vision is possible because of a combination of scholarship, faith, and urban resources. SPU students are given ample opportunities to learn, explore, and serve.

An accredited, distinctly Christian university of arts, sciences, and professional studies, Seattle Pacific is rated by U.S. News and World Report as one of the best universities both in terms of academic programs and value. Students choose from 61 academic majors and 48 minors. Faculty members are respected scholars whose primary commitments are teaching and nurturing students.

For a unique look at Seattle Pacific, discover etc, a magazine that serves as a bridge between the SPU community and prospective students, telling them the stories that make us uniquely SPU. For a free subscription to etc, visit spu.edu/etc.

Affordability is always a priority at Seattle Pacific University. For the 2011-12 academic year, SPU will help provide more than $80 million in scholarships, grants, and other financial assistance.

Premier Programs and Location

Just minutes from downtown Seattle, the campus is ideally located for internships, service-learning, and ministry projects. Overseas study and mission opportunities abound. Urban Involvement, a student-run group, coordinates volunteer efforts throughout the city; during academic breaks, students join SPRINT, a short-term mission program that sends students to countries such as Indonesia, Nicaragua, and Uganda.

The University's more than 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students are engaging both local and international cultures and making a real difference in the world.
